Partnerships for success!

Skyfarer and Phoenix Wings have been working and innovating together side by side since December 2019. With a shared focus on clean tech and societal impact by using drones, we have worked together to pave the way for the UK’s first routine BVLOS operation.

Phoenix Wings have been working on developing and manufacturing their fleet with a key focus on Automation, Robustness, Simplicity and Flexibility.

Meet the Fleet

PW.One

Aircraft details:

Wingspan - 1.30 m

MTOW - 3.4 kg Max.

Payload - 0.5 kg / 2 L

Max. Range - 30 km

Cruise Speed - 72 km/h

Skyafer is using the PW.One for smaller payloads such as First Aid Kits, small samples, Epi Pens and small defibrillators. Due to its smaller size, the PW.One is perfect for your remote access use cases and surveying solutions.

How are drones operating?

The Phoenix Wings drones are operated by Skyfarer from the centralised location of the Skyfarer Hub. Businesses and organisations subscribe to utilise the full capability of the Skyfarer hub and network. As a result, they can turn their use case into a regulated, authorised, and economically advantageous drone operation.

Having a shared service hub means that access to this technology and capability is far more cost-effective whilst not diminishing utilisation.

Each hub is being developed to serve a 40km radius connecting each spoke (pictured below).

Whether that be to deliver a product or provide a surveillance solution, the Skyfarer hub contains a drone fleet that is specifically designed and optimised for each operation you are desiring to achieve.

Do you have a use case?

Skyfarer and Phoenix WIngs are always looking to expand the use of #dronesforgood across the UK, if you have a use case, we want to hear it!
